Voices from the Parish - the OLQA Prayer Ministry Team

Our Voice from the Parish is Sue, who is a member of the prayer ministry team at OLQA. Here is what Sue has to say about her role:

'We are fortunate in having a prayer ministry team operating at Our Lady Queen of Apostles. A simple slotted box with papers and pen sits in our porch and people ask for prayers for those in need, most times they write their names and perhaps a few details, often they don’t; whatever, we present them to the Lord. Our team undertakes to pray daily for intentions and we meet monthly, in prayer, to update and renew our list. The current list of names goes into this beautiful pewter box which is presented at the offertory every Sunday, resting on the altar and so prayed over. This is a quiet and confidential ministry, reportedly much valued by those needing the support of prayer.'
