Have you considered applying for a post in one of our schools but are unsure how they are different and whether your application would be welcomed? Find out the answers to these questions and any others you may have about working in a Catholic school by attending our online webinar, ‘Come to work in our Catholic schools’ being held on Tuesday 13th January 2026 at 7pm. The webinar will be led by Catherine Hobbs, Diocesan Director for Education and Robert Dare, Diocesan Schools Support Officer, and will last approximately one hour. Christian Unity in Eastleigh - Bible Reading Week
As part of the week of prayer for Christian Unity, Churches Together in Eastleigh are joining together to read the bible. From Monday 19th to Friday 23rd we will be reading through the entire Bible from 8am - 9pm each day. On Saturday 24th January we will be gathering in Eastleigh Town Centre to read the Gospels. This is a fantastic opportunity to demonstrate the unity we all have in knowing Jesus as Lord and Saviour as revealed through the holy scriptures. We would love people from every church to take part. Please visit our website to sign up. You can sign up for as many slots as you like. Each slot is one hour and up to 4 people at a time can book in so no one has to read for the full hour.
Parish Get2Gether
Sunday 1st February 1-4pm Pavilion on the Park, SO509LH
An event for all of the parish, especially families.
We begin at 1pm, sharing a meal together, followed by some activities and a discussion. There is no cost, however we kindly ask you to give a donation to cover the hire of the pavilion. Please bring some food, beverages or cakes to share with others.
Please can you bring your own cups/plates/cutlery.
Come and See is a holiday club, providing activities for children and young people (age 7-14) during school holidays and half term breaks.

PARISH PILGRIMAGE TO PORTUGAL
30th April - 4th May 2026
The parish of St Swithun Wells is organising a pilgrimage to Lisbon and Fatima (Portugal) from Thursday, 30 April to Monday, 4 May 2026. We will visit Lisbon, the birthplace of St Antony, the site of the Apparitions of Our Lady in Fatima and Tomar. There will be Mass every day and procession of candles in Fatima. The price is £995 per person for half-board accommodation. Breakfast and dinner are included. Three-star hotel accommodation for two nights in Lisbon and two nights in Fatima. This price is valid until 15 January 2026.
